The Victorian Government is providing $85 million to extend Werribee Mercy Hospital, giving families in Wyndham access to more beds and extended surgical services. In addition, the funds allow for the establishment of critical care services. The project, known as Stage 1C expansion, will commence in early 2017 and include:
- 56 new inpatient beds
- 6additional operating theatres
- a central sterile supply department
- an 8 bed critical care unit (CCU)
Werribee Hospital Foundation, in support of Mercy Health, has committed to government that we would lead a community appeal to raise an additional $2 million to enhance furnishings and equipment for the CCU and fund the Wellness Garden as a significant part of the overall Stage 1C expansion.
All money raised through this appeal will be used solely to benefit patients at Werribee Mercy Hospital. Donations to the appeal are tax deductible and can be made in a number of ways.
- A on off donation
- A regular donation made periodically over a number of years
- A bequest
Or you may like to fundraise and encourage your friends and family to support you.
